Uesugi Immigration Law Firm (行政書士うえすぎ事務所) is a licensed Gyoseishoshi (administrative scrivener) office specializing in Japanese immigration procedures. We help foreign residents and their employers prepare and file applications with the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

Our office is a 4-minute walk from Ozaku Station (JR Ome Line), serving Hamura, Ome, Fussa, Akishima, Akiruno and the surrounding area. Online consultations are available nationwide. Your first consultation (60 minutes) is free.

Quotation – we explain our fees clearly before you decide.
Document preparation – we prepare the application and tell you exactly which documents to collect.
Filing – as a certified filing agent (Shinsei Toritsugi Gyoseishoshi), we can submit the application to Immigration on your behalf.
Result – we keep you updated until you receive the result.

Fees

Our professional fees (tax included) are listed on our fee page (Japanese). We offer three plans so you can choose the level of support you need. For example, our Standard plan for a Permanent Residence application is ¥132,000, and for most other visa types it is ¥104,500.

Please note that government fees (paid with revenue stamps) are separate. From applications received on or after October 1, 2026, the fee for a visa extension or change of status is ¥10,000–¥75,000 depending on the period of stay granted, and the fee for Permanent Residence is ¥200,000.

Our representative, Takeshi Uesugi, is a licensed Gyoseishoshi (registration no. 24080261) and certified immigration filing agent. Having worked alongside foreign workers in Japan for many years, he started this office to help people from overseas build a safe and happy life in Japan. We are glad to help in Japanese or English.
